CAN EECCA is opening applications for the Youth Climate Policy Lab — an online capacity-building programme for young people from Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia (EECCA region).
The programme is designed for those who want to strengthen their skills in climate policy and turn their research and analytical work into real policy impact. Through a series of practical webinars and a mentorship phase, participants will learn how to communicate evidence effectively, engage in policy advocacy, and disseminate their research to wider audiences.
Over the course of the programme, participants will take part in 8 interactive webinars and receive mentorship support. They will also have the opportunity to publish their own analytical outputs through CAN EECCA platforms.

Eligibility criteria:
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Be 35 years old or younger
- Be based in the EECCA region (Eastern Europe, Caucasus, or Central Asia)
- Be able to participate in webinars in English
- Be available to attend sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 18:30 (Almaty time, UTC+5) from April to May 2026 (at least 5 sessions to receive a certificate)
Application process:
Applications will be reviewed by the CAN EECCA team. Selected participants will be notified by April 23, 2026. Around 30 participants will be selected for the programme.
