Our mission:

We operate in the field of eco-education, development of environmental volunteering, leadership – holding actions and events to refuse plastic bags and plastic; sewing eco-bags by volunteers; actions in the field of energy saving, waste sorting, climate change and adaptation of the population. We raise issues of chemical safety (we are in the agricultural region; therefore, pesticide pollution is especially acute). Environmental law: we deal with drinking water and sanitation rights, including access to these utilities in rural areas; conduct public monitoring of the Rural Water Supply Development Program (website www.ompp.kzwww.ompp.kz). Since the city of Atbasar is often flooded, the development of measures to reduce the risk of flooding is a separate area.

The Voice of Nature

The Dneprodzerzhinsk public ecological organization “Voice of Nature” is a nongovernmental, non-political, non-profit association of citizens.

It was founded by Greenpeace-Ukraine activists in 1999 after the closure of the Ukrainian branch of the international environmental organization Greenpeace. The founders of the organization “Voice of Nature” are Kolishevsky E.S., Berezina A.V., Dubovich E.V. and Guz S.I.

The main goals are:

  • Informational and educational activities in the field of environmental education;
  • Promotion of the environmental protection;
  • Implementation of the environmental control.

In accomplishing its goals, the organization is guided by a global approach to problems without reducing them to national or regional levels.

  • Adaptation to climate change in the Carpathians;
  • Introduction of water resources management based on the basin principle;
  • Protection and restoration of the water-related ecosystems;
  • Conservation of small rivers in the Carpathian region;
  • Access to safe drinking water for all people involved, especially women, children and marginalized groups.

One of the development perspectives of any community, where both local residents and nature will benefit, is the development of ecotourism. Ecotourism generates income for local residents and increases the attractiveness of the region. We support the development of ecotourism and a green economy in the Carpathians.
