CAN EECCA considers that new nuclear power and fossil-fuel projects should be phased out and their direct and indirect subsidies withdrawn. The organisation calls on countries in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia to refocus funding and other support measures on the energy transition, focus on renewable energy, develop international cooperation and strive for climate justice.
