Kamilia Sulaimanova is an environmentalist and expert in sustainable development, green economy, and climate adaptation, with over 15 years of experience in environmental, research, and international projects. Throughout her career, she has implemented dozens of initiatives in the fields of climate change, sustainable agriculture, natural resource management, and environmental entrepreneurship across the regions of Kyrgyzstan, and has collaborated with partners such as UNDP, GIZ, EBRD, FAO, KOICA, Helvetas, and the World Food Programme.

A key focus of her work is promoting climate-resilient solutions, including climate risk assessment tools such as the Climate Expert Tool (CET), as well as advancing environmental education and engaging youth in sustainable practices. Kamilia Sulaimanova currently serves as an expert at the Green Nexus research center at the International Ala-Too University and as Executive Director of the Open Innovations R&D Foundation.
