The first webinar will be on inputs on the consequences of the Russian aggression in Ukraine for energy transition and climate policy in the EECCA region and EU-Central Asia relations in the energy sector, followed by a discussion.

Speakers:

— Alica Kizekova, works as a senior researcher at the Centre for the Study of Global Regions and heads its Asia Pacific Unit. She pursued a PhD by research in International Relations at Bond University in Queensland, Australia (PhD) and she has a Master’s degree in international relations and diplomacy from the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations, University of Matej Bel in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. In addition, she works at the IIR as a coordinator of activities related to the Think Visegrad- V4 Think Tank Platform and a programme coordinator of the International symposium on the Czech foreign policy.

— Vibhushree Hamirwasia, Community and project manager at the REN21. Vibhushree is an energy expert and passionate about fostering the diverse community that ties REN21’s global network together. She says, «the REN21 community is a group of people who come together with a common purpose. This common purpose aligns with a greater purpose, for the greater good.»

The language of all webinars will be English with simultaneous translation to Russian.
